Interdepartmental Writing Role Play
October 8, 2026
The crew of the U.S.S. Heimdal regularly engage in a writing roleplay exercise, where they place themselves inside the story. The narrative is created on an ongoing basis, however there are regular gatherings of participants on Zoom to lightly sketch out future plot-lines.
The Zoom gathering occurs every second Thursday of the month at 7 pm. For Zoom coordinates, contact Fleet Captain Darrell Millner.
Engineering Departmental Meeting
October 13, 2026
The Chief of Engineering convenes a monthly meeting of all Engineering personnel through Zoom, to discuss topics of interest and provide guidance. Virtual Rakta Jino and scones are served.

Phaser Simulation
October 24, November 7 2026
The Security Department will be hosting a Phaser Simulation (paintball). You can bring your own equipment or borrow some for a modest fee. New players are welcome, and we always see to it that everyone knows all the safety rules and are treated with respect. Teams will be divided up as equally as possible and we try to keep department members together. A reminder that participating in "phaser sim" goes towards the point system in rank advancement and certificates are awarded as skill levels increase.
